If you are in Villars next week don’t miss the 2nd Villars-Gryon Official Jumping Competition from 5th – 15th July.  This is a really colourful and exhilarating show with lots of festivities and entertainment for all ages. Located in the lower car park of the telecabine in Villars.

The snow fell on Easter Saturday and we ended skiing back in lovely Spring snow.  The children kept entertained over lunch by having one enormous snowball fight!

Up to 14cm of fresh spring snow is forecast to fall at 1660 metres on Sunday evening / Monday morning and then the sun is due to come out again.  Whenever they have forecast snow this season there has always been more than expected ….. watch this space !

The Villars night show was more impressive than ever this year.  The laser show up at 1800 metres wowed everyone.  Mountain bikers and toboggans hurled down the piste at break-neck speed, skidoos jumped, parapenteurs swooped over the crowd and fireworks cracked...

The French and Swiss families have enjoyed a warm half term week with plenty of blue skies and temperatures up to 11 degrees at 1,700 metres.  Good news – temperatures are dropping again on Sunday night with more snow coming on Monday.  The snow ploughs are ready!
