New 6 seater chairlift at Petit Chamossaire

Hallelujah! The old 2 seater 1960′s style chairlift at the base of the Petit Chamossaire
is being replaced by a new 6 seater model which can carry 2000 skiers per hour to the top of the mountain.

As the locals and frequent visitors to Villars know, the Petit Chamossaire has some of the best black and red runs in the whole ski domain, not to mention some of the best off piste possibilities in the region. This new chairlift will make these pistes even more accessible and i’m sure the ‘Petit Cham’ will become even more popular for the 2011/2012 ski season.
